JuzPlayKids is looking for a regular part-time Team Manager and  part-time Team Members who are passionate about customer service and having fun.

 

JuzPlayKids is an indoor playground designed for children 55” and below to play under parental/guardian supervision. We also cater to children’s birthday parties, doing several per week and have our very own professional photo booth for photo sessions during both parties and normal business hours. This position is regular part time and is required to work on most weekends with potential to be full-time and promoted to Team Manager. This position will be scheduled varied hours as needed, including weekends. This individual will report to the Manager and assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations and staff; monitor and prioritize workflow and schedules.

 

 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Customer service, including POS and checking guests in and out

  • Conducting children activities such as stories telling, art & craft, simple face painting etc.

  • Supervising guests and ensuring safe play

  • Housekeeping and cleaning

  • Facility, equipment and fire safety maintenance

  • Interact with customers, ensuring ultimate customer satisfaction

  • Sell the organization's products and/or services to new or established customers; handle and resolve escalated customer complaints and issues.

  • Assist in managing the selection, training and development of new team members

  • Reserving/planning customer birthday parties

  • Perform various administrative tasks, maintaining proper inventory, filing invoices, filing various reports and paperwork

  • Expenses and cash handling reporting

  • Daily/quarterly activities planning

 

Physical Requirement and Working Environment

Physical Requirements: This work requires walking, standing, bending, stooping, fine manipulations, kneeling, pulling, pushing and reaching. Work Environment: 100 percent indoor.

 

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate should be a highly energetic all-rounder with innate leadership skills that loves to work with children, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and passionate about customer service.

  • Social media, technology and internet savvy.

  • Minimum 1 year of management experience in retail or customer facing environment.

  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required.

  • College experience in a business field is preferred.

This position is part time with opportunity to become full time. This position will be scheduled varied hours as needed, including weekends. This position oversees patrons' activities in the facility, host birthday parties and perform general maintenance duties. The ideal candidate should be a highly energetic, reliable, friendly and a outgoing all-rounder who loves to work with children, in a fast paced, family friendly environment. This individual is passionate about customer service and will always ensure all our little customers have an awesome experience.  This individual must be comfortable looking after groups of people and leading activities and show great organizational skills.

 

 

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Customer service

  • Cashier

  • Facilitate birthday parties

  • Housekeeping

  • Equipment cleanliness maintenance

  • Conducting kids’ activities

  • General supervision of facility to answer questions from customers and to ensure rules and regulations are kept

 

Physical Requirement and Working Environment

Physical requirements involve combination of walking and standing. Includes stooping, climbing, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, reaching and walking on uneven surfaces.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

  • Minimum high school

  • Previous work experience in a customer orientated business preferred but not essential.

  • Applicants should enjoy working with families and kids and have good communication skills.

  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule with varying hours.

  • Ability to work with and get along with people

  • Must be able to follow directions and work cooperatively with others.
